Cap of your summer of skating excellence with one last skating camp! Back 2 Cool includes all the classes you love, with a focus on athlete education. Did you compete this season? Program critiques and exhibition options for competitive athletes will be included in this camp.

Special Guest Coach John Mucko

John started his professional career with Ice Follies/International and later joined Holiday on Ice in Europe traveling the world for 9 years. Upon returning to America, he continued to perform in various professional shows. Known for his backflip and acrobatic style, combining showmanship and artistic expression was his passion. He has been coaching and choreographing for 40 years.  Johns holds a Master Rating with the Professional Skaters Association in Choreography, Moves in the Field and Theater on Ice as well as a Registered Rating in Free Skate.  He also has a Master Technique Certification with American Ice Theater. Designing many seminars and workshops to introduce athletes of all ages to the concept of using creative and innovative techniques to present contemporary and abstract movements, gestures and emotions. Serving on the USFS Program Development Committee for Theater on Ice, John helped to further develop the discipline with a focus on the Choreographic Exercise portion of TOI. Working with Adult skaters bringing passion and creativity has proved to enhance and further develop the artist within each and every skater.

3 levels
  • Bronze: LTS levels: Basic 2 – 4. Ages 5 and up
    • The Bronze track is designed for our newest skaters! Skaters between levels 2 and 4 who are working on their forward and backward swizzles, pumps, starting forward cross-overs, and are ready to “Spring” into a full day of skating fun to improve their skating and have some fun! Must have prior skating experience. Personal skates are recommended but not required. Must be able to use restroom facilities on their own.
  • Silver: Basic 5 – Aspire
    • The Silver track is for our rising stars! Designed to offer a dynamic and fun training environment for our newest competitors and pre-competition level skaters.! Three days full of challenges and fun, this is an introduction to our summer intensive programming. This level is best for those skaters working on one foot or scratch spins and have begun learning jumps.
  • Gold: Aspire+ and up
    • The Gold track is for our more advanced athletes. Skaters currently working on single to double jumps and spin variations. In this track you will get an exciting mix of on and off-ice high performance training, an intro to IJS (International Judging System), and a fun intro into our new summer intensive.
