Theater On Ice is a form of figure skating that combines the grace of figure skating with the excitement of theatre and dance. Known as “Ballet on Ice” in Europe, teams consist of 8 to 28 skaters on the ice telling a story together. Theater On Ice brings skaters together and gives athletes the chance to be a part of a team, perform and make new friends.
Each session of Theater On Ice will culminate in a performance (Winter – Cascade Ice Classic, Spring – Parent Performance, Fall – Winter Show).
Class consists of 45-minutes of on-ice instruction followed by 15-minutes of off-ice instruction. A one-time $80 costume fee applies in addition to the weekly class fee. This class is open to all levels but skaters in Basic 6 and below may only join with coach or director approval.
